Trespasser Version 2 Released!
Trespasser » Devlog

It is not yet the end.
Thanks for bearing with me over this long development process. Trespasser has been a joy to create so far, but it's a lot of work, and I am a career professional with limited time to tackle it on any given week. Version 2.0 is finally out, and it clocks in at 329 pages- much more than I ever expected when I started this goofy experiment. Here's some of what you can expect to see in the new version:
- Overhauled core system with four attributes and no modifier.
- Unified procedural gameplay that flows between four frames: combat, exploration, travel, and haven management.
- Sparks & Shadows system to govern degrees of success and infuse checks with mechanical and narrative consequence.
- Overhauled character design; callings and adventuring crafts with more character-defining features.
- Fully-realized haven management rules with hirelings, research, magic rituals, and more.
- Redesigned monsters with roles and templates to make encounter building and monster design easy and fast.
